Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver to safely operate and deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and following dispatch instructions. Must have a valid Class B CDL and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work hours vary with demand; overtime and weekend work may be required. Training on safety procedures and PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class B CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and equipment; load materials safely.
• Communicate with Dispatcher/Plant Manager about delivery instructions and tickets.
• Follow OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safety practices and use PPE as required.
