Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a concrete mixer truck driver for Medina, OH. The role involves operating a ready-mix truck to deliver to job sites, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and following dispatcher instructions. A class B CDL is required.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, pre/post trips, basic customer interactions, and occasional yard work. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum of 1 year related experience or training.
• Must possess a valid minimum class B CDL.
• Ability to operate a ready-mix concrete truck safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read delivery tickets and follow dispatcher instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain clean and orderly vehicle and work area.
• Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices.
• Collect payments and record transactions with receipts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
