Job summary

Reading Corps in Minnesota, Duluth, is seeking Reading Tutors to help students become strong readers at a local school. You'll deliver proven activities and be coached throughout the program, with 20-minute tutoring blocks each school day.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
