Ampact’s Reading Corps seeks a Reading Tutor to support students at local schools in Minnesota. You will deliver proven activities, coach students daily, and return to the classroom with a renewed plan for the next pair of students.

You’ll work with a schedule aligned to school days, 20 minutes per tutoring session, and ongoing coaching to ensure growth and confidence in readers. Opportunities include a two-week stipend cycle and education awards through AmeriCorps.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States or eligible to work.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).

Responsabilités

• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
