Job summary

Ampact is seeking Reading Tutors for the Reading Corps at local schools in Minnesota. You will work with pairs of students for daily 20-minute reading sessions, following a structured program and coaching from onsite staff. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you deliver proven activities.

Position offers daytime hours during the school year, with part-time options available. You will contribute to student growth, celebrate progress, and share your experience with the community in

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Ages 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with onsite coach.
• Enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to ongoing coaching and training to grow.
