Job summary

Reading Corps at Ampact is hiring Reading Tutors to support students at local schools. You will lead pairs of students in 20-minute reading sessions each day, track progress, and collaborate with an onsite coach. Training is provided, with coaching along the way to help you grow.

Positions run for the 2026-27 school year, with part-time options at 25 hours per week. AmeriCorps compensation includes a stipend and benefits, plus education benefits and loan forbearance.

Qualifications

Dependable with good attendance
Able to follow instructions and adapt based on feedback
Basic computer skills (email and online navigation)
English fluency in speaking, reading, and writing
18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent
US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
Able to complete a background check

Responsibilities
