Ampact's Reading Corps is seeking Reading Tutors to support students at local schools. You will lead 20-minute tutoring pairs, track progress, and participate in ongoing coaching. Training is provided to deliver proven activities and support student growth.

Positions align with the 2026-27 school year, offering a structured daytime schedule and opportunities for growth through AmeriCorps stipends and education awards.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for student support.
