Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning and mentorship. We seek a Reading Program Coordinator to lead structured-literacy sessions for K‑2 students at our on-site campuses, including The Woodlands, TX. You’ll use AI-adaptive platforms to tailor instruction based on real data and drive engagement.

You must have a structured-literacy certification or a Master’s in reading instruction, plus 2+ years of K‑2 experience. On-site work with a dynamic young learner cohort is required.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification or a Master's in reading instruction.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years K-2 structured reading instruction in the past 5 years.
• Ability to create own lessons and describe teaching methods independent of a published program.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy principles.
• Conduct daily motivational sessions to achieve weekly adaptive-app targets.
• Administer running records, fluency and decoding measures to monitor progress.
• Analyze AI-generated performance data to individualize instruction.
• Be the approachable adult your K-2 students are excited to see daily.
