Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills. This Literacy Program Coordinator role leads structured-literacy workshops for K-2, informing instruction with live performance data and AI-adaptive apps.

You’ll inspire six-year-olds and drive measurable progress in reading proficiency. The position is full-time, on-site at multiple Alpha campuses, with relocation support and benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification in structured literacy or a Master’s in reading instruction.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline plus 2 years of full-time K-2 structured reading instruction.
• Proven capacity to independently design reading lessons without a published program.
• Ability to assess reading growth and explain concrete improvements.
• Availability to work full-time on-site at a listed Alpha campus.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches, informed by live student performance data.
• Conduct daily motivation sessions to ensure 100% of students reach weekly adaptive-app targets.
• Deliver and interpret running records, fluency assessments, and decoding probes to monitor progress.
• Analyze AI-generated data from Alpha's adaptive-learning platforms to differentiate instruction dynamically.
• Serve as the energetic, approachable adult your K-2 students are eager to spend time with each day.
