Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time role in Oregon. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers, ensure aircraft readiness per FAR/REACH, and maintain regulatory documentation.

The position requires substantial helicopter flight experience and a valid rotorcraft commercial certificate. Offers include a $110,949-$122,044 salary with a 25% geographic modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, stipends, housing, and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class I or II medical certificate required.
• Total flight hours meet stated minimums.
• Weight and instrument hour requirements must be satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR/REACH.
• Maintain REACH/regulatory documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change info according to procedure.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

Incentives

• Salary Range: $110,949-$122,044 including 25% Geographic Modifier

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording A REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000Helicopter PICHours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided
• 75 Helicopter Instrument Hours with 50 in aircraft
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft
• EC135/H135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
