Job summary

Qualifications

• RDMS certification through ARDMS.
• One ARDMS specialty certification (AB/OBGYN/PS/RVT/Breast/MSK).
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of sonographer experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain the test to the patient and instruct positioning.
• Maintain work area and report equipment issues.
• Produce high quality ultrasound scans per protocol and orders.
• Adjust transducer and controls to optimize image quality.
• Assist Radiologists with procedures and patient care.
• Maintain records and track procedures in RMS/SMS systems.
