Job summary

Renton Modern Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists with patient care, imaging, and infection control. You will help gain patient commitment and ensure high standards of comfort and quality care.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training courses.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations required by state (e.g., radiograph exposure, coronal polish).
• Associate degree or certificate preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience to focus patient on optimal treatment.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and rooms according to ADA guidelines.
• Comply with State and Federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

Education

Associate degree or certificate from an accredited college or technical school
