Job summary

Redondo Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will assist with patient education, imaging, and clinical procedures while maintaining a clean and compliant dental office environment.

The role emphasizes effective chair-side support, patient communication, and adherence to safety regulations to ensure a great patient experience and efficient treatment flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state-mandated certification/licensure.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as required by state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from a college or technical school; or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA/OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal regulations (HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, DOL).
