Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as required by state
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited college or tech school or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment
• Participate in perfect patient experience ensuring patient focus
• Prepare patients and assist doctors for efficient, quality care
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per guidelines
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)
