Job summary

The Dental Office of Renton is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care and teaching patients about oral health. The role emphasizes efficient chair-side support, infection control, and accurate imaging.

You will work to ensure a welcoming, clean environment, perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed, and help maintain compliance with safety and privacy regulations while supporting patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with state-m mandated certification/licensure
• Certifications/licensures as mandated by the state for dental assisting
• Associate degree or one-year certificate in dental assisting or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency
• Participate in creating the Perfect Patient Experience
• Maintain clean, sterile, cheerful environment for patients
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
