Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, prepare patients, and operate advanced cath lab equipment. A strong emphasis on patient safety and compassionate care is required.

Qualified candidates have RCIS, ACLS, and BCLS certifications, plus at least 1 year of cath lab experience. A certificate is also noted in the qualifications. No travel is required.

Qualifications

RCIS certification required for this role.
ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
1 year experience in cardiovascular cath lab is required.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
Maintain a sterile environment and advocate for every patient.
