Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, invites qualified candidates to join as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes lifesaving cardiac procedures with access to state-of-the-art cath lab technology and strong teamwork to balance work and life.

You will work closely with physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while preparing patients, operating equipment, and ensuring sterile conditions.

Qualifications

• RCIS certification or eligibility required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiology or cath lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Certificate
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
