Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. In this role you will work with physicians to perform lifesaving cardiac procedures using state‑of‑the‑art cath lab technology and a collaborative team environment.

You will assist with procedures, prepare patients, operate equipment, and monitor responses to ensure high‑quality, compassionate care for our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.
