Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina in Florence, SC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a full-time position. The role involves assisting with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures and supporting the cardiology team.

Training will be provided to licensed RTs willing to join the cath lab. The successful candidate will hold ARRT, CVIS, CRT and RRT credentials and a current BLS certification; prior critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or CVIS.
• Critical Care Experience required.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT, RRT certifications preferred; BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures and support the cardiology team.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and documentation.
• Adhere to departmental standards and hospital protocols throughout procedures.
