Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II for the Cath Lab. Under limited supervision, you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure setting, serving as a resource to staff.

Responsibilities include scrub duties for cardiac interventions, patient care, ECG setup, hemodynamics recording, and ensuring equipment readiness. Valid RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI within 2 years and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year of invasive cardiovascular technology or radiologic experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions unaided.
• Performs peripheral diagnostics/interventions with minimal assistance.
• Prepare and set up back table with necessary equipment.
• Record and log hemodynamics via MacLab event log with accuracy.
• Maintain ECG setup and rhythm monitoring; ensure safety.
