Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking an RBT to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement individualized behavior plans, collect progress data, and work closely with supervising BCBAs and families to ensure consistency and successful skill acquisition.

The role requires an active RBT certification or eligibility, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Strong communication and genuine passion for helping children and families are essential assets.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus)
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
