Job summary

MeBe is a provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. Our mission is to empower families, professionals, and communities by educating and training them on evidence-based approaches.

As a Behavior Technician you will work 1:1 with ke y kiddos in home or MeBe’s Learning Center, following BCBA-approved plans, recording progress, and supporting families. We offer paid RBT training and supervision to help you pass the exam and grow within the MeBe Family.

Qualifications

• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.
• Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you!)
• TRICARE certification is preferred.
• Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run.
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent- required. A bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
• Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients

Responsibilities

• You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe’s Learning Center clinic
• You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• You’ll relay info on your kiddos’ progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
• At the end of each session, you’ll accurately record the kiddo’s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.
• You’ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
• You’ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.
• You’ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.
• You’ll help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.
• You’ll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.
• You’ll help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• You’ll positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
