Job summary

Blue Gems ABA in Massachusetts is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in home, school, or clinic settings, delivering individualized behavior intervention plans.

You will collect real-time progress data using clinical software, collaborate with supervising BCBA and families, and maintain a safe, engaging environment during sessions.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification, if applicable).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in Psychology/Education a plus.
• Experience: Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; strong communication and interpersonal skills; passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
