Job summary

Sunrise ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work with children across home, school, and community settings, collecting data and supporting skill development in communication, social interaction, and adaptive behavior.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable transportation, and a heart for helping children flourish. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Must have valid Driver License.
• RBT certification is a plus.
• Experience implementing ABA programs or working with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions in home, school, and community settings.
• Use positive reinforcement and ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress during each session.
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior and progress to BCBA.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and attend team meetings.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
• Receive regular supervision from BCBA to ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with families and team members to generalize skills across settings.
• Provide support and training to family members and caregivers as needed.
