Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA therapy under BCBA supervision at our Meridian center. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and engage children in learning activities while communicating progress to families.

The role emphasizes ethical practice and ongoing professional development in a center-based setting. The position requires current RBT certification or completion of the BACB-approved training, a high school diploma or GED,

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification OR completion of a 40-hour RBT training OR BT experience in ABA.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• CPR certification before start date.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a treatment team.
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat all day.
• On-site, center-based setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
• Communicate with families about progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
