Job summary

Blue Gems ABA seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision, collect progress data, and collaborate with families and BCBAs to ensure skill generalization.

Ideal candidates hold an active RBT certification (or eligibility) and a HS diploma; a Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
