Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD across home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement plans designed by a BCBA, collect real-time progress data, and work closely with families to promote skill generalization.

The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and collaboration with the supervising team, families, and caregivers, ensuring high-quality intervention and meaningful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus)
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
