Job summary

Vinson Elkins in Houston is seeking a Billing Operations professional to support timekeeper, client, and matter pricing, and AFAs within the firm’s billing software. You will collaborate daily with Pricing professionals, Billing Coordinators, eBilling Analysts, Partners, and other firm personnel to ensure accurate rates, timely updates, and adherence to firm policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or related area.
Minimum of three years’ experience in legal services billing, accounting, or related financial fields.
Experience with Aderant or similar billing system; familiarity with law firm billing processes and eBilling systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to prioritize and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

Input and maintain timekeeper and client pricing in the firm’s financial system.
Communicate rate changes to Billing Coordinators and Partners.
Collaborate with Pricing to ensure accurate rates and AFAs.
Monitor timekeeper changes and implement related rate updates.
Support annual client rate review and advance rate notices.
Maintain foreign currency setup for pricing.
Assist in rate arrangement processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
