Ropes & Gray seeks a Pricing Operations Analyst to manage pricing data, AFAs, and billing workflows. You will coordinate pricing information with the billing team and external clients, ensuring accurate application of AFAs in 3E and timely invoicing.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or business, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial data reporting. The role requires adaptability and collaboration across teams, with hybrid onsite work in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Experience with financial database software, particularly those used in the professional services industry is required. Knowledge of 3e a plus.
• Must have two or more years of experience with working with sensitive financial data and reporting within a law firm or service industry.
• Demonstrated expertise with MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filtering, graphs and advanced formulas.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot fee execution issues through thoughtful data analysis and understanding of firm systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients on execution of fee agreements to meet multiple team goals.
• Understand AFAs and advise on best practices for executing agreed upon arrangements.
• Administer approved AFAs in the accounting system (3E) for accurate and timely billing.
• Monitor and triage inquiries from the central mailbox and support billing operations.
• Design and implement tools to improve control and maintenance of AFAs.
• Review new matter openings to ensure pricing is correctly applied in the system.
• Analyze the portfolio of AFAs to inform firm approval decisions.
• Assist with annual price renewals by auditing terms for accuracy.
