Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team in the Reston, VA area. You will drive sales by developing and executing a strategic territory plan, building relationships with gastroenterologists and hepatologists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years pharma/biopharma sales experience, GI/Hepatology exposure preferred, and strong data-driven selling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
• 5+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Must be self-motivated with ability to work autonomously.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed DSE MBO and future sales goals in assigned territory by executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive sales in a complex matrixed environment.
• Identify key influencers and manage customer interactions to meet expectations.
• Plan territory coverage and manage the territory budget to support sales activities.
