Job summary

Syneos Health in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive sales for a new rare disease GI/Hepatology product. You will develop territory strategies, build professional physician relationships, and lead cross-functional collaboration to achieve ambitious targets.

Candidates should have 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales, 3+ years in GI/Hepatology/rare disease, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 5+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals within an assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Navigate a complex matrix selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Leverage data tools and insights to guide business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling with group presentations and engagements.
• Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage the budget.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Support DSE and brand strategy within the geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Adhere to legal/compliance policies and maintain integrity.
