Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Territory Business Manager for Rare Disease to drive sales within an assigned geography.

You will develop and execute territory plans, build relationships with gastroenterologists and hepatologists, and deliver clinically focused presentations that demonstrate therapeutic value. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biopharma sales, 3+ years in GI/Hepatology, and a proven track record of top-tier results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of documented top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the territory preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Must be self-motivated with autonomy and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in assigned territory by executing a territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FRMs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute DSE and brand strategy within the geographic area.
