Job summary

Syneos Health in Frederick, MD is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new rare disease GI/Hepatology team. You will drive sales in a defined territory, build physician relationships, and execute territory plans that maximize clinical value and revenue.

The role requires a life sciences or related degree, 5+ years pharma sales, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel is required; a driver’s license is needed; base salary is provided with potential for bonuses and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Must be self-motivated with a high level of autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including proficiency with CRM and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals within the assigned territory by executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to grow new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Use data and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
