Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for the Rare Disease GI/Hepatology franchise in Reston, VA. You will develop and execute territory strategies, build key physician relationships, and drive pull-through through high-impact, clinically focused presentations.

The role requires 5+ years of pharma sales experience, 3+ years in GI/Hepatology/rare disease, and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization with autonomy. A competitive base salary is offered with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; self-motivated with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals within assigned geography through an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new opportunities.
• Succeed in a matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Use data tools to determine sales strategies and drive decision making.
• Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
