Job summary

Syneos Health in Joliet, IL is seeking a Territory Business Manager to lead a new rare disease GI/Hepatology launch. You will drive sales in the assigned territory, build physician relationships, and execute strategic plans to maximize opportunities across a matrix organization.

The role requires 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales with GI/Hepatology experience preferred. Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $150,000 with potential for commissions or car allowance, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate it effectively.
• Must be self-motivated with high autonomy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals in assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain relationships with targeted physicians to maximize opportunities.
• Navigate a complex matrix selling environment with cross-functional teams.
• Use data tools and insights to shape business strategies and decisions.
• Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage budget.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly and execute brand strategy in territory.
