Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager to reduce time to diagnosis and improve patient access by partnering with health systems, clinics, and infusion centers in targeted accounts. You will drive account plans, address access barriers, and support buy-and-bill operations across assigned sites of care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 2 years of sales or account management experience.
• Master’s with 4 years in sales/account management.
• Bachelor’s with 6 years in sales/account management.
• Associate’s with 10 years in sales/account management.
• High School diploma with 12 years in sales/account management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address access barriers and improve patient access in assigned accounts.
• Lead contracting opportunities and coordinate internal approvals for compliant negotiations.
• Evaluate buy-and-bill workflows and optimize revenue-cycle processes.
• Coordinate field execution with cross-functional partners and deliver actionable insights.
• Travel 40–60% to support account plans and strategic initiatives.
