Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience in a specialty environment, preferably rare disease.
• Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services.
• Experience with hospital/university systems and large healthcare orgs.
• Ability to work in a changing startup environment and travel overnight.
• Strong relationships with pharmacists, hospital admins and physicians.
• Credentialing updates may be required; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Self-starter with ethics, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Use product knowledge to engage in customized, compliant discussions with customers.
• Drive sales performance and meet or exceed forecasts.
• Manage budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations.
• Stay current on local market, practice structures, and key influencers.
