Job summary

Ascendis Pharma in Philadelphia seeks a high-performing pharma sales professional to drive growth in endocrinology and rare disease markets. You will cultivate relationships with hospitals, health systems, and physicians to expand access and outcomes.

You will build strategic territory plans, navigate complex access pathways, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute against ambitious objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience in specialty pharma, preferably rare disease.
• Experience with injectable products and hospital/university networks is a plus.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Use product knowledge to engage in customized in-person discussions with customers in an ethical, compliant way.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts and use budgets effectively.
• Develop territory business plans and understand formulary approvals and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver resources and pull-through in the territory.
• Maintain knowledge of local market structures, influencers, and care models.
