Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience in a specialty environment, ideally rare disease and injectable experience.
• Able to operate in a changing startup-like environment.
• Experience with complex distribution/HUB services for a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant manner.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts.
• Manage budgets to support therapeutic and territory goals.
• Stay informed about local market structures and influencers; share insights with Ascendis stakeholders.
• Understand practice structures and opportunities to identify business potential.
• Use analytics to evaluate business performance and optimize resource use.
• Develop business plans with leaders to achieve goals and formulary opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver resources and drive pull-through in the territory.
• Maintain administrative excellence including call data, expenses, and reporting.
