Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in a specialty sales environment (rare disease and injectable experience preferred).
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, startup-like environment.
• Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services for a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customized discussions and in-person interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts.
• Use budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations.
• Stay current on local market, practice structures, and key influencers; share insights with Ascendis stakeholders.
• Identify business opportunities by understanding practice structure, business model, and influencer networks.
• Analyze data to evaluate business and optimize resource use for sales objectives.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop a business plan and manage formulary opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver resources and enable pull-through within the territory.
• Maintain administrative excellence including sales calls data and expense reporting.
