The Area Business Lead, Rare Disease at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. will lead a team of Rare Disease Account Managers and work with Medical, RAMs and PELs to drive growth and patient access in the US.

You will develop and execute dynamic business plans, engage with key accounts and KOLs, and ensure compliant, patient-centric strategies while guiding field leadership to meet ambitious sales objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other related graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years previous first line leadership experience in the Rare Disease space.
• Nephrology and/or Immunology leadership experience highly preferred.
• Rare Disease launch experience preferred.
• Proven track record in coaching, training and mentoring peers to meet or exceed goals.
• Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial targets.

Responsabilidades

• First line leader who coaches Rare Disease Account Managers and develops field strategies with key accounts, KOLs, and advocacy groups.
• Develop regional sales plans and allocate resources to achieve national goals.
• Collaborates with Regional Sales Directors, marketing, market access and medical affairs to hit business objectives.
• Builds deep knowledge of competition and drives strategies to capture market share and patient access.
• Demonstrates scientific expertise in renal physiology and immunology for internal and external stakeholders.
• Cultivates relationships with KOLs, physicians, payers and academic centers to support product adoption.
