Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking an Area Business Lead, Rare Disease to oversee six Rare Disease Account Managers and collaborate with Medical, Market Access and Patient Support teams to grow the business and improve patient outcomes.

You will develop and execute regional plans, coach field teams, and build strategic partnerships with KOLs and payers to drive patient access and revenue in a complex rare disease portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years previous first line leadership experience in Rare Disease.
• Nephrology and/or Immunology leadership experience highly preferred.
• Rare Disease launch experience preferred.
• Proven track record coaching, training and mentoring peers to meet targets.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a dynamic cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Rare Disease Account Managers in the field.
• Develop regional business plans aligned with national goals.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, PELs, RAMs and other leaders to meet objectives.
• Build relationships with KOLs, payers, and academic centers to grow patient access.
• Drive strategies for customer-centric promotions and field execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and business policies.
