Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking an Area Business Lead, Rare Disease to oversee a regional team of Rare Disease Account Managers and drive growth with key accounts and KOLs.

You will develop regional business plans, coordinate with Medical, Market Access, and patient support teams, and coach field staff to achieve strategic objectives while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
• Proven track record in coaching, training and mentoring peers to meet goals.
• Strong leadership of a high-performing field sales organization.
• Deep knowledge of IDN, hospital processes, and payer landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rare Disease Account Managers and oversee key accounts.
• Develop regional business plans and align with national goals.
• Engage with KOLs, payers, academic centers, and advocacy groups.
• Coach and develop field teams to improve performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and PELs to execute business strategies.
• Represent the company with a patient-centric, compliant approach.
