Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an Area Business Lead, Rare Disease to lead a team of six Rare Disease Account Managers and collaborate with Medical, Market Access and Patient Support to grow the business in the U.S.

The role reports to Senior Business Director and will develop regional plans, coach field teams, and drive patient-centric strategies while ensuring compliance and delivering superior value to patients and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of first-line leadership in Rare Disease.
• Leadership in nephrology or immunology is highly preferred.
• Proven track record coaching and mentoring peers.

Responsabilités

• Lead Rare Disease Account Managers in field coaching and development.
• Develop regional business plans based on national goals and resources.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and patient support teams.
• Build relationships with KOLs, payers, academic centers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance and ethical standards across communications.
• Monitor competitive landscape and drive patient acquisition and revenue.
