Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Technician to provide emergency restoration services for properties affected by fire, water, mold, sewer, and storm damage. You will stabilize properties, prevent further damage, and deliver professional, compassionate service during stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain IICRC (Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying environments.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation per IICRC standards.
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely.
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected spaces.
• Document job progress with photos and notes using PSA and required software.
• Communicate professionally with clients with empathy and respect.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
• Set up, operate, clean, and store tools and equipment.
