Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Night shift RRT Nurse at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia. The role coordinates rapid response activities, communicates with care teams, and ensures timely interventions for optimal patient outcomes.

Requires acute care experience and current RN licensure with relevant certifications. The position is full-time, nights, 36 hours per week, with a robust scope for clinical practice guidance and staff mentoring.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma in nursing; RN preferred at Bachelor's level.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Rapid Response Team calls and coordinates patient care during events.
• Communicates with medical staff and other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Documents assessment, interventions and outcomes in the medical record using SBAR.
• Develops and follows clinical practice guidelines for RRT.
• Monitors patient outcomes and performs follow-up as needed.
• Educates patients, families, and staff and participates in staff education.
• Supports performance improvement and quality patient care initiatives.
