Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a Rapid Response Team Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will coordinate assessments, prioritize interventions, and ensure culturally aware care under the Nurse Manager.

The role emphasizes data monitoring and staff support within a busy critical care setting. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in critical care, an active GA RN license, and ACLS/BLS certification, with readiness to mentor peers and participate in practice

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in GA or eligible to practice in GA.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to RRT calls and coordinate care during events.
• Communicate with medical staff and other disciplines for outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical record.
• Develop and implement RRT practice guidelines and education.
• Monitor and follow up on patient codes and data trends.
