Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a skilled Rapid Response Team (RRT) Nurse to coordinate rapid assessments, interventions, and documentation for patients in a full-time night shift. You will work under the Nurse Manager, ensuring age-appropriate and culturally aware care and serving as a resource to staff, physicians, and families.

Required are an RN license in Georgia (or GA privilege), ACLS/BLS certifications, and 2+ years in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; RN licensure required upon hire.
• Active Georgia RN license or privilege to practice in GA under eNLC.
• ACLS/BLS certifications required upon hire; national critical care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls and coordinate patient care during events.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes while prioritizing safety.
• Document interventions and outcomes in the medical record using SBAR.
• Educate patients and families; support staff and other departments as needed.
• Monitor data and contribute to RRT practice guidelines and improvement initiatives.
