Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Supervisor for the Ground Handling Department to oversee daily ramp operations, training delivery, scheduling, and staff guidance. The role reports to the General Manager and requires coordination with mentors and managers to maintain service quality.

The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, conflict resolution ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A flexible schedule and experience in airline operations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and on-the-job training for ramp functions.
• Conduct briefing and distribute training material/checklists to mentors.
• Create and coordinate schedules.
• Provide hands-on assistance to Training Department and give feedback to managers.
• Approve employees for release to duty after training.
• Coach staff and support career development.
• Correct non-compliant behavior and administer disciplinary action as needed.
• Align daily work with corporate policies and goals.
• Manage staff with varied duties and administrative reporting.
