Job summary

JINYA in Washington, DC is seeking a BOH Line Cook to support Kitchen Managers and ensure ramen quality with consistent procedures. You will work closely with the kitchen and front of house to uphold hospitality excellence and safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of kitchen experience, strong communication, and flexibility in hours, including weekends and holidays. Training and development opportunities accompany a fun, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year restaurant experience with knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication; ability to multi-task.
• Positive attitude, able to work under pressure.
• English writing and speaking skills required; alcohol and food handling certifications.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to recipes/instructions from Kitchen Manager.
• Adhere to kitchen safety procedures and proper equipment use.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation program and food handling standards.
• Follow health, safety and JINYA policies and procedures.
• Assist guests and team members to ensure a great dining experience.
• Promote teamwork and JINYA core values.
